Countryside
04:36
|
|||
Do you recall, I was lost In a forest without sound
Bleeding from my throat but yet somehow kept alive
When we were small we lived on the countryside, far apart
I wish I'd never met you, but then I would have died
Long ago
I count;
The fingers I have left
The hours I have spent
The people I have met
Life can be measured in numbers
Telephone-books and gaping wonders
Always landing somewhere in between
The time when you were all I needed
Come to the countryside with me,
I wish that life could be that easy
Deep in my soul, there is something craves for air and untouched soil
Leaves in our hair, living almost on our own
Childish I know, and as I age those dreams fade more and more
Bleeding but yet kept alive I see them locked away in your eyes
I count;
The fingers I have left
The hours I have spent
The people I have met
Life can be measured in numbers
Telephone-books and gaping wonders
Always landing somewhere in between
The time when you were all I needed
Come to the countryside with me,
I wish that love could be that easy

She Has Died
04:44
|
|||
She hit the floorboards shaking
And you had a sip of wine
Let the children play around,
Nothing's wrong, you don't mind
Decadence, drunk or high
Overdoses, live or die
Standing tall, the only winning move
Is not to care
You raised the glass up to your lips
Looked up to the roof and spoke
The dress too tight around your hips
Calm but paler than a ghost
Disconnected mouth from mind
Said: "she has died and so will I"
Just before you left the room
I thought I saw you smile.

Great Blue Lake
04:25
|
|||
Been feeling off my hinges lately
Must be my head
It's all in a way I cannot explain
So why don't you build me a new body
In a white room where I had to go
Stronger than physics
The world is gonna end in a way can't explain
So why don't you build me a new body
Part of you wanted me to stay under
Part of you wanted me to stay under the great blue lake
